AI consulting for St. Paul businesses and nonprofits
St. Paul runs on small firms, nonprofits, and organizations that answer to boards, funders, and the state. That's where repetitive work piles up: applications, reports, follow-ups, intake. 1771 works with St. Paul owners and executive directors in live sessions to build the AI tools that take it over, and we're fifteen minutes away on I-94 when you'd rather do it in person.
$1,999/month · 2 working sessions a month · unlimited async support · billed monthly

Three automations we've built with clients. A St. Paul nonprofit's version of the first one reports to the board instead of to Google.
- A weekly SEO digest with next steps — Every Monday, a plain-language note on what moved in search for your site and the three things to do about it. Pulled from Search Console and your analytics: which pages gained, which slipped, which new questions people are typing, and a short list of actions ranked by payoff. No dashboard to log into. It reads like a note from a colleague who checked so you didn't have to.
- After-hours follow-up for texts, calls, and emails — A message that lands at 9 p.m. gets a useful reply in your voice within minutes, and you find it logged and queued in the morning. Missed calls get a text back. Emails and texts get an answer that covers the common questions, sets expectations, and offers a booking link. Everything is logged with context, so your first job in the morning is a two-minute review, not a pile of cold replies.
- From sales call to finished proposal — Record the prospecting call. By the time you're back at your desk, a proposal PDF in your template is waiting for your edits. The transcript becomes scope, options, pricing, and terms drafted from what was actually said, in your voice, laid out in your branded template. You correct a few lines and send it the same afternoon instead of next week.
St. Paul is a nonprofit and services town
Between the Capitol, the county, the colleges, and one of the densest nonprofit sectors in the country, St. Paul has more organizations reporting to someone than almost any city its size. Grant reports, program applications, member communications, and outreach logs are exactly the kind of structured, repetitive work AI handles well once someone builds it properly.
We've done nonprofit Salesforce work, we know the Power of Us program and its ten free licenses, and our partner Dan Roseman spent twelve years building compliance programs, which is the vocabulary boards and funders speak.
Lowertown to Highland, and the east metro
We work with businesses across St. Paul and the east metro: Lowertown and downtown firms, Grand Avenue and Highland retailers and practices, Midway and University Avenue service companies, and the suburbs out to Woodbury, Roseville, and Maplewood. Sessions are usually screen shares. When the workflow is physical, we come to you.
What a month looks like
A short intake, then two 45-minute working sessions a month with screen share, unlimited Voxer voice and text in between, and a shared Notion hub that logs everything built. You leave the first session with one thing working.

Questions people ask
Do you come to St. Paul?
Yes. Our office is in the Minneapolis North Loop, which is fifteen minutes from Lowertown. Most sessions are screen shares, but we'll meet on your side of the river whenever it helps.
Do you work with nonprofits?
Yes, and we like it. We've built Salesforce for nonprofits, understand funder reporting, and price nonprofits the same as everyone else at $1,999 a month.
Can this handle grant and program reporting?
That's one of the best uses. Structured data in, narrative report out, in your voice, ready for review. It's the same pattern as our sales-call-to-proposal automation, pointed at a funder instead of a prospect.
What if we're already on Salesforce?
Even better. We've done Salesforce consulting since 2013 and the AI retainer sits on top of whatever CRM you run.
